Lexi House is a group home located in Somerville, Alabama that can provide shelter for 16 women and children at one time. Lexi House is the only rescue shelter in Morgan County that accepts women with children at No Charge.

Lexi House is a faith-based, non-denominational ministry committed to helping women and children who are homeless.

Lexi House was founded in 2004 by Allen and Shontina Brown of Decatur, Alabama. God has called the Browns to help young women and children who are experiencing difficult hardships and needing immediate help. The Browns are quick to point out that Lexi House is a gift from God and that it is only because of His provision through His people that Lexi House exists today.
